Wildlife authorities intervene

Lishman, working with Dr. William Sladen of Virginia, launches a two-pronged study: first, to imprint and lead hybrid Trumpeter/Tundra swans and second, to repeat the 1988 goose-flight experiments. Due to the lack of necessary permits, the two studies run "a-fowl" of authorities and are curtailed.
