| This is what we awoke to this morning as a new round of heavy rains fell. The crane pen is there, alongside a new creek that appeared overnight. This field is normally a grass runway! |

| Approaching the river, Brooke and I could see the torrent of water running alongside the narrow road that leads to the creek below. |

| Brooke surveys the creek, which yesterday was only perhaps 15 ft. across and up to mid-calf. |
