A Visit with Former Students, and Juvenile Crane #418

Left is the yearling male #306, while this year's little guy #418 asserts his authority over an adult Sandhill. Note the white primary flight feathers on 418, which is how they grew in late this summer after he lost his original black primaries.
418 seems to be hanging out with #'s 306 and 205, and occasionally another male #204.
