January 9, 2008 - Day 73 Chilton County, AL

Bev helps one of the students try on the crane costume.
Brooke explains flying with the cranes to some of the grade 7 students at Oak Mountain Middle School.
On January 6th we had severe weather pass through the area - bringing torrential rains and strong winds.
The skies were incredibly dark and threatening and thankfully, in our immediate area, there were no tornadoes. The same was not true Walker County, AL at our last stopover were there were flash floods and very severe winds.
