Meet the Class of 2008

August 4 - 17, 2008

Some of the birds at the North site flying in ground effect.
The weather has been cooperative lately so the team has been able to train almost every morning. This shot is a view of 'taxi training' from the pilot's seat.
Joe took this photo of the First Family pair, 211 & 217* foraging outside the wet pen at the North site. They appear to be frequent visitors.
The youngest group - Cohort three spend time with the aircraft on the grass training strip adjacent the new Canfield site.
The youngest male of the Class of 2008 spends time investigating in the wet pen.

An aerial view of the new Canfield training site. The team worked very hard this summer to get it ready in time for the arrival of Cohort three on July 29th.
